AN ACT
1 Amending the act of June 3, 1937 (P.L.1225, No.316), entitled
2 "An act concerning game and other wild birds and wild
3 animals; and amending, revising, consolidating, and changing
4 the law relating thereto," increasing the maximum purchase
5 price per acre the commission may pay for land.
6 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
7 hereby enacts as follows:
8 Section 1. The first paragraph of section 903, act of June
9 3, 1937 (P.L.1225, No.316), known as "The Game Law," amended
10 July 9, 1976 (P.L.908, No.163), is amended to read:
11 Section 903. Purchase Price.--For land to be used as State
12 Game Lands the commission may pay what it considers a fair and
13 reasonable price not exceeding [two hundred dollars] five
14 hundred dollars per acre exclusive of Federal and other cost-
15 sharing funds and consistent with the market value of land in
16 the locality in which any such land may be located.
