                                     AN ACT

     1  Authorizing the council of any city of the second class or
     2     second class A to exempt certain persons from certain
     3     taxation.

     4     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     5  hereby enacts as follows:
     6     Section 1.  The council of any city of the second class or
     7  second class A may, by ordinance or resolution, exempt any
     8  person whose total income from all sources is less than $7,500
     9  per annum from any per capita, earned income, occupation or
    10  resident's tax levied by such city. This exemption shall not
    11  apply to real property taxes.
    12     Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
