                                     AN ACT

     1  Declaring and adopting the song "Pennsylvania," by Ethel Lodge,
     2     as the State song of the Commonwealth.

     3     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     4  hereby enacts as follows:
     5     Section 1.  The song "Pennsylvania," words and music by Ethel
     6  Lodge, is hereby adopted as the State song of Pennsylvania and
     7  shall be the official song for all public purposes. The words of
     8  the song are as follows:
     9                            Pennsylvania
    10         There's no state like Pennsylvania, the state I
    11             call my own.
    12         It's mountains tow'ring to the heav'nly blue.
    13         Crystal lakes and valleys beckon you
    14         Stalwart cities working day and night
    15         Fertile farm-lands never cease to delight
    16         It's friendly folk you'll like to know
    17         Who will welcome you where'er you roam


     1         Pennsylvania, Keystone State,
     2         You'll always be my home.
     3         Of the fifty states that make up our great
     4             Nation
     5         There's one which leads the list with warmth
     6             and fame
     7         The State that welcomes all as brothers,
     8         The Keystone State and we all know its name.
     9         There's no state like Pennsylvania, the state I
    10             call my own.
    11         It's mountains tow'ring to the heav'nly blue.
    12         Crystal lakes and valleys beckon you
    13         Stalwart cities working day and night
    14         Fertile farm-lands never cease to delight
    15         It's friendly folk you'll like to know
    16         Who will welcome you where'er you roam
    17         Pennsylvania, Keystone State,
    18         You'll always be my home.
    19     Section 2.  This act shall take effect immediately.
