AN ACT 1 Declaring and adopting the song "Pennsylvania," by Ethel Lodge, 2 as the State song of the Commonwealth. 3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania 4 hereby enacts as follows: 5 Section 1. The song "Pennsylvania," words and music by Ethel 6 Lodge, is hereby adopted as the State song of Pennsylvania and 7 shall be the official song for all public purposes. The words of 8 the song are as follows: 9 Pennsylvania 10 There's no state like Pennsylvania, the state I 11 call my own. 12 It's mountains tow'ring to the heav'nly blue. 13 Crystal lakes and valleys beckon you 14 Stalwart cities working day and night 15 Fertile farm-lands never cease to delight 16 It's friendly folk you'll like to know 17 Who will welcome you where'er you roam
