                                     AN ACT

     1  Authorizing the Department of General Services, on behalf of the
     2     Commonwealth, to acquire by gift certain land in Falls
     3     Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

     4     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     5  hereby enacts as follows:
     6     Section 1.  The Department of General Services, on behalf of
     7  the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission, is authorized
     8  and empowered to acquire fee simple title from the Warner
     9  Company, on behalf of the Commonwealth, certain land adjacent to
    10  the property known as Pennsbury Manor in Falls Township, Bucks
    11  County, bounded and described as follows:
    12     Beginning at a corner of lands of the Commonwealth of
    13  Pennsylvania, (Pennsbury Manor State Park) and on the
    14  southwesterly side of Pennsbury Memorial Road (33.0 feet wide);
    15  thence along lands of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
    16  (Pennsbury Manor State Park), south 05 degrees 38 minutes, 15
    17  seconds east 1,472.07 feet to a corner in line of lands of Tract
    18  #6, Warner Company; thence along the same, north 35 degrees 01

     1  minute 45 seconds west 166.80 feet to a concrete monument set
     2  for a corner of other lands of Warner Company; thence along the
     3  same, north 05 degrees 38 minutes 15 seconds west 1,470.26 feet
     4  to a corner on the southwesterly side of the aforesaid Pennsbury
     5  Memorial Road; thence along the same, south 35 degrees 20
     6  minutes 15 seconds east 165.22 feet to a corner of lands of the
     7  Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and place of beginning.
     8     Section 2.  Title to the property shall be taken subject to
     9  the easements presently on record or in existence.
    10     Section 3.  The property, a 300th birthday gift to the
    11  Commonwealth of Pennsylvania representing the continuing
    12  historical interest of the Warner Company, shall be under the
    13  jurisdiction and control of the Pennsylvania Historical and
    14  Museum Commission for preservation, care and maintenance as part
    15  of the historical site known as Pennsbury Manor.
    16     Section 4.  The title to the property shall be taken in the
    17  name of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in fee simple and
    18  before its acceptance shall be approved by the Office of the
    19  Attorney General.
    20     Section 5.  This act shall take effect immediately.
