                                     AN ACT

     1  Authorizing the Department of General Services, with the
     2     approval of the Secretary of Transportation, to sell and
     3     convey to Herbick & Held Printing Company a tract of land
     4     within Walker Street and Boyce Street in the Twenty-first
     5     Ward in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County,
     6     Pennsylvania, lying east and southeast of the property line
     7     of lands presently owned by Herbick & Held Printing Company,
     8     containing, in the aggregate .212 acre, more or less.

     9     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
    10  hereby enacts as follows:
    11     Section 1.  The Department of General Services, with the
    12  approval of the Secretary of Transportation, acting on behalf of
    13  the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, is hereby authorized to convey
    14  to Herbick & Held Printing Company, a corporation organized
    15  under the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, with
    16  principal offices at Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, its
    17  successors and assigns, for the expansion of its facilities, fee
    18  simple title for such consideration as an independent appraisal
    19  paid for by the grantee and obtained through the Department of
    20  General Services shall determine and the Attorney General shall
    21  approve, a tract of land within Walker Street and Boyce Street


     1  in the Twenty-first Ward in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny
     2  County, Pennsylvania, lying east and southeast of the property
     3  line of lands presently owned by Herbick & Held Printing Company
     4  containing, in the aggregate .212 acre, more or less, described
     5  as follows:
     6     Beginning at a point at the intersection of the southerly
     7  line of Wolfendale Street (60 feet wide) and the westerly line
     8  of Walker Street (40 feet wide), which point is at the
     9  northeasterly corner of land now of Herbick & Held Printing
    10  Company (formerly Western Gear Corporation); thence along the
    11  westerly line of Walker Street south 13 degrees 45 minutes 30
    12  seconds east, 128.15 feet to a point in the intersection of
    13  Boyce Street (40 feet wide) and Walker Street; thence through
    14  the intersection of Boyce Street and Walker Street, north 84
    15  degrees 58 minutes 10 seconds east, 40.468 feet to a point on
    16  the easterly line of Walker Street; thence along the easterly
    17  line of Walker Street and land now or formerly of the Department
    18  of Transportation of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania north 13
    19  degrees 45 minutes 30 seconds west, 128.15 feet to a point which
    20  is at the intersection of the easterly line of Walker Street
    21  with the southerly line of Wolfendale Street as extended in an
    22  easterly direction; thence south 84 degrees 58 minutes 10
    23  seconds west, 40.468 feet to the point at the place of
    24  beginning.
    25     The above described parcel is presently or was formerly
    26  occupied by a part of Walker Street (40 feet wide) and a part of
    27  Boyce Street (40 feet wide).
    28     Section 2.  The Deed of Conveyance shall be approved by the
    29  Department of Justice and shall be executed by the Department of
    30  General Services, with the concurrence of the Secretary of

     1  Transportation, in the name of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
     2     Section 3.  This act shall take effect immediately.
