A SUPPLEMENT
1 To the act of July 9, 1976 (P.L.857, No.154), entitled "An act
2 providing for the capital budget for the fiscal year 1976-
3 1977," itemizing an additional public improvement project <--
4 PROJECTS to be constructed by the Department of General <--
5 Services, together with its THEIR estimated financial cost <--
6 COSTS, authorizing the incurring of debt for the project <--
7 PROJECTS without approval of the electors to complete the <--
8 project PROJECTS, stating the estimated useful life of such <--
9 project PROJECTS and making an appropriation. <--
10 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
11 hereby enacts as follows:
12 Section 1. Itemization and Authorization of Project.--An <--
13 additional capital project PROJECTS.--ADDITIONAL CAPITAL <--
14 PROJECTS in the category of a public improvement project <--
15 PROJECTS to be constructed by the Department of General <--
16 Services, its successors or assigns, and to be financed by the
17 incurring of debt, is ARE hereby itemized, together with the <--
18 THEIR respective estimated financial cost COSTS and the total <--
19 additional amount authorized for the public improvement project <--
20 PROJECTS, as follows: <--

22 Section 2. Debt Authorization.--The Governor, Auditor
23 General and State Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed
24 to borrow, from time to time, in addition to any authorization
25 heretofore or hereafter enacted, on the credit of the
26 Commonwealth, subject to the limitations provided in the current
27 capital budget, money not exceeding in the aggregate the sum of
28 $3,640,000 $6,983,000 as may be found necessary to carry out the <--
29 additional capital project PROJECTS in the category of public <--
30 improvement, consisting of construction of the public

1 improvement project PROJECTS specifically itemized herein. <--
2 Section 3. Estimated Useful Life of Project PROJECTS.--The <--
3 General Assembly states the estimated useful life of the public
4 improvement project PROJECTS heretofore itemized is not less <--
5 than 30 years from the date of completion thereof, which period
6 is hereby stated to be the term of the debt to be incurred.
7 Section 4. Appropriation.--The net proceeds of the sale of
8 obligations herein authorized are hereby appropriated from the
9 Capital Facilities Fund to the Department of General Services in
10 the maximum amount of $3,640,000 $6,983,000 to be used by it <--
11 exclusively to defray the financial cost of the public
12 improvement project PROJECTS specifically itemized herein. After <--
13 reserving or paying the expenses of the sale of the obligations,
14 the State Treasurer shall pay out to the Department of General
15 Services the moneys as required and certified by it to be
16 legally due and payable.
17 Section 5. Effective Date.--This act shall take effect
18 immediately.
