                        In the House of Representatives, October 1, 1980

     1     WHEREAS, November 10, 1980 will mark the 205th birthday of
     2  the United States Marine Corps; and
     3     WHEREAS, The United States Marine Corps has been a
     4  cornerstone in the protective wall of the Armed Forces of the
     5  United States; now therefore be it
     6     RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives urge Governor
     7  Thornburgh to proclaim the week of November 10, 1980 as "Marine
     8  Corps Week;" and be it further
     9     RESOLVED, That a copy of this resolution be transmitted to
    10  Governor Dick Thornburgh.
