In the House of Representatives, May 4, 1980
1 WHEREAS, Certain oil companies deliver fuel oil in vehicles
2 which are equipped with meters which enable purchasers, be they
3 individuals or service station owners, to know the exact
4 quantity of the purchase while other companies do not have such
5 meters; therefore be it
6 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives, direct the House
7 Transportation Committee to investigate and study the matter of
8 distribution and sale of fuel by non-metered tank vehicles; and
9 be it further
10 RESOLVED, That the committee may hold hearings, take
11 testimony, and make its investigations at such places as it
12 deems necessary; and be it further
13 RESOLVED, That the committee report its findings to the House
14 of Representatives as soon as possible.
