                     In the House of Representatives, September 26, 1979

     1     RESOLVED, (the Senate concurring), That the General Assembly
     2  urges the Secretary of Transportation to petition the court in
     3  the matters of Delaware Valley Citizens Council For Clean Air
     4  vs. Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (Civil Action No. 76-2068
     5  United States District Court E.D. Pa.) and United States of
     6  America, Environmental Protection Agency vs. Commonwealth of
     7  Pennsylvania (Civil Action No. 77-619 United States District
     8  Court E.D. Pa.) for modification of the consent orders entered
     9  in both cases so that the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will have
    10  additional time to meet clean air standards in the fourteen
    11  counties in which emission inspections will be required as a
    12  result of such consent orders; and be it further
    13     RESOLVED, That a copy of this resolution be transmitted to
    14  the Secretary of Transportation.
