AN ACT 1 Authorizing and directing the Department of General Services, 2 with the approval of the Governor and the Department of 3 Public Welfare, to convey to Cranberry Township, 4.891 acres 4 of land, more or less, situate in Cranberry Township, Butler 5 County, Pennsylvania. 6 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania 7 hereby enacts as follows: 8 Section 1. The Department of General Services, with the 9 approval of the Governor and the Department of Public Welfare is 10 hereby authorized and directed on behalf of the Commonwealth of 11 Pennsylvania to convey to the Township of Cranberry, the 12 following tract of land situate in the Township of Cranberry, 13 County of Butler, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, bounded and 14 described as follows: 15 Beginning at a point in the center of T-300, also known as 16 Rolling Road where said center line intersects with the Butler 17 County-Allegheny County lines; thence north 87 degrees 24 18 minutes 11 seconds west along said Butler County-Allegheny 19 County line, a distance of 980.56 feet to an existing concrete
1 monument; thence north 1 degree 20 minutes 30 seconds west along 2 line of Lot No. 228 in the Manor Line Plan No. 2 of lots 3 recorded in Butler County at Rack File 60, Page 5, a distance of 4 66.34 feet to a point on other line of lands of Cranberry 5 Township; thence along line of lands of Cranberry Township north 6 63 degrees 6 minutes 52 seconds east, a distance of 665.89 feet 7 to a point in the center line of T-300, also known as Rolling 8 Road; thence continuing along said center line of T-300, also 9 known as Rolling Road, south 43 degrees 13 minutes 51 seconds 10 east, a distance of 565.28 feet to a point, the place of true 11 beginning. Being a rectangular tract of land containing 4.891 12 acres and having a one story brick structure contained thereon. 13 Section 2. The Deed of Conveyance shall contain a clause 14 that the land conveyed shall be used for a community center 15 and/or recreation center and if at any time the Township of 16 Cranberry, or its successor in function, conveys said property 17 or authorizes or permits said land to be used for any purposes 18 other than those directly related to community center or 19 recreational center purposes, the title thereto shall 20 immediately revert to and revest in the Commonwealth of 21 Pennsylvania. 22 Section 3. The Deed of Conveyance shall be approved by the 23 Department of Justice and shall be executed by the Secretary of 24 the Department of General Services in the name of the 25 Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. 26 Section 4. The conveyance shall be made for a consideration 27 of $1 and all fees and costs shall be borne by the grantee. 28 Section 5. This act shall take effect in 60 days. G2L53JLW/19800H2857B3794 - 2 -
