AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Philadelphia College of
2 Performing Arts, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for maintenance,
3 general operation and student aid.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. The sum of $108,000, or as much thereof as may be
7 necessary, is hereby appropriated to the Philadelphia College of
8 Performing Arts, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for the fiscal year
9 July 1, 1980 to June 30, 1981, for maintenance, general
10 operation of the academy and student aid.
11 Section 2. Payments to the Philadelphia College of
12 Performing Arts shall be made by the Secretary of Education on
13 the basis of costs during the fiscal period.
14 Section 3. The college shall provide such information and in
15 such form and manner as the Department of Education may
16 prescribe.
17 Section 4. The academy shall present its financial
18 statements and report in accordance with generally accepted
1 accounting procedures as presented in the "Higher Education
2 Finance Manual of 1975," without exception.
3 Section 5. This act shall take effect July 1, 1980.
