AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Department of Labor and Industry
2 from the Workmen's Compensation Administration Fund to
3 provide for the expenses of administering the Pennsylvania
4 Workmen's Compensation Act and the Pennsylvania Occupational
5 Disease Act for the fiscal period July 1, 1980 to June 30,
6 1981 and for the payment of bills incurred and remaining
7 unpaid at the close of the fiscal period ending June 30,
8 1980.
9 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
10 hereby enacts as follows:
11 Section 1. The sum of $8,764,000, or as much thereof as may
12 be necessary, is hereby specifically appropriated from the
13 Workmen's Compensation Administration Fund to the Department of
14 Labor and Industry for the payment of all salaries, wages and
15 other compensation and travel expenses, for contractual services
16 and other expenses necessary for the administration of the act
17 of June 2, 1915 (P.L.736, No.338), known as "The Pennsylvania
18 Workmen's Compensation Act," and the act of June 21, 1939
19 (P.L.566, No.284), known as "The Pennsylvania Occupational
20 Disease Act" for the fiscal period beginning July 1, 1980 and
1 for the payment of bills incurred and remaining unpaid at the
2 close of the fiscal period ending June 30, 1980.
3 Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 1980.
