     4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     5  hereby enacts as follows:
     6 Section 1. The song "Pennsylvania, The Land I Call Home,"
     7 music by Sundee Kelly and lyrics by Diana Shurina is hereby
     8 adopted as the State song of Pennsylvania and shall be the
     9 official song for all public purposes. The words of the song are
    10  as follows:
    11 Pennsylvania, the land I call home,
    12         Bright city lights, yet wildlife can roam;
    13 The mountains and streams give a peaceful air,
    14 For those who want to be free of their cares.
    15 Chorus: It's a beautiful State with much to give,
    16 Where the future holds a promise and the
    17                     past still lives.
    18 Roar of the steel mills and honor of the mines,

     1         Back country roads and highways that wind;
     2 And the liberty bell never rings too loud,
     3 But in the hearts of the people who have a right to
     4             be proud.
     5 Chorus: It's a beautiful State with much to give,
     6 Where the future holds a promise and the
     7                     past still lives.
     8 Pennsylvania where three rivers meet,
     9         Horses and buggies ride in the streets;
    10 And the old Dutch cooking is always a treat,
    11         Sky scrapers loom to the highest heights;
    12 Forts stand erect at the battle sights,
    13 And the crickets chirp on hot summer nights.
    14 Chorus: It's a beautiful State with much to give,
    15 Where the future holds a promise and the
    16                     past still lives.
    17 Yes, it's a beautiful State with much to give,
    18 Where the future holds a promise and the past
    19                     still lives.
    20 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
