AN ACT 1 Authorizing the Department of General Services, with the 2 approval of the Department of Public Welfare and the Governor 3 to grant an easement on a tract of land in East Norriton 4 Township, Montgomery County to Joseph Russell for a sanitary 5 sewer line. 6 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania 7 hereby enacts as follows: 8 Section 1. The Department of General Services, acting on 9 behalf of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, with the approval of 10 the Governor and the Department of Public Welfare is authorized 11 to grant a perpetual easement for $1 consideration upon such 12 terms and conditions, relative to installation and maintenance 13 as are reasonable to the Secretary of Public Welfare for a 14 sanitary sewer line on land in Norristown State Hospital, East 15 Norriton Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, in and 16 concerning: 17 All that certain lot or tract described as follows: 18 Beginning at a point marking a corner of Barley Sheaf, a 19 corner of land of Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and in line of
1 land of Gasper Arena, said point being at a distance of 833.25 2 feet measure south 44 degrees 28 minutes west along land of 3 Gasper Arena from a point on the centerline of Germantown Pike; 4 marking a corner of lands of Gasper Arena and Joseph M. Russell 5 and Dominick Besa (Barley Sheaf); thence from said beginning 6 point extending on lands of Gasper Arena and East Norriton 7 Township south 44 degrees 28 minutes west 152.00 feet to a 8 point; thence through lands of Commonwealth of Pennsylvania the 9 two following courses and distances: (1) north 44 degrees 06 10 minutes west 40.00 feet to a point; (2) north 44 degrees 28 11 minutes east 152.00 feet to a point; thence by land of Barley 12 Sheaf south 44 degrees 06 minutes east 40.00 feet to the first 13 mentioned point and place of beginning. The total amount of the 14 easement on Commonwealth land being 152 feet in length and 40 15 feet in width. The survey was prepared by Thomas Wolford, 16 Professional Engineer, Yerkes Associates, Bryn Mawr, 17 Pennsylvania. 18 Section 2. In the event that the sewer system is no longer 19 operated title to said easement shall revest in the Commonwealth 20 of Pennsylvania. 21 Section 3. The document granting the easement shall be 22 executed by the Department of General Services with the approval 23 of the Department of Justice in the name of the Commonwealth. 24 Section 4.
