AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, further providing for inspection certificates.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. Subsection (b) of section 4727 of Title 75, act
6 of November 25, 1970 (P.L.707, No.230), known as the
7 Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, is amended to read:
8 § 4727. Issuance of certificate of inspection.
9 * * *
10 (b) Requirements for issuance of certificate.--An official
11 certificate of inspection shall not be issued unless the vehicle
12 is inspected and found to be in compliance with the provisions
13 of this chapter including any regulations promulgated by the
14 department. [Notation of the odometer reading shall be included
15 on the certificate of inspection.]
16 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
