AN ACT
1 Providing for the release of certain Project 500 land situated
2 in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County from restrictions
3 on use or other encumbrances so that it may be conveyed for
4 use in conjunction with nonprofit senior citizens housing.
5 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
6 hereby enacts as follows:
7 Section 1. The following described land situated in the City
8 of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, is hereby released from any
9 restrictions on use or other encumbrances on title resulting
10 from the provisions of the act of January 19, 1968 (1967
11 P.L.996, No.443), known as "The Land and Water Conservation and
12 Reclamation Act" so that such land may be conveyed by the City
13 of Pittsburgh to the National Church Residence of Brookline,
14 Pennsylvania, a nonprofit corporation, for the purpose of
15 providing required recreational open space for use by senior
16 citizens in conjunction with the new senior citizen housing.
17 Being the following described lots from the Allegheny County
18 Lot and Block System: 96-B-252, lots 451, 452 and 453; 96-B-248
1 lots 454 and 455 for 5th Ward Brookline Plan 60 as recorded in
2 Plan Book Vol. 25, Page 46, 19th Ward, City of Pittsburgh,
3 County of Allegheny.
4 Section 2. The Department of Justice shall prepare and the
5 Secretary of the Community Affairs shall execute on behalf of
6 the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania a release pursuant to the
7 provisions of this act which release shall be recorded in the
8 Office of Recorder of Deeds in Allegheny County.
9 Section 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
