AN ACT
1 Making it unlawful to make retail sales of gasoline for motor
2 vehicles without conspicuously posting of the prices therefor
3 and providing a penalty.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Posting of gasoline prices.
7 A person who makes retail sales of gasoline to drivers of
8 motor vehicles shall post the prices charged for each kind sold
9 by him in a conspicuous manner on a sign in at least six inch
10 letters on a contrasting background with a stroke width of at
11 least 1.03 inches which can be read by a driver in either
12 direction 300 feet prior to entering the gas station proper.
13 Section 2. Penalty.
14 A person who violates the provisions of this act is guilty of
15 a misdemeanor of the third degree.
16 Section 3. Effective date.
17 This act shall take effect in 60 days.
