AN ACT 1 Authorizing and directing the Department of General Services, 2 with the approval of the Department of Public Welfare and the 3 Governor to convey to the Township of Collier ten acres of 4 land, more or less, situate in the Township of Collier, 5 Allegheny County, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. 6 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania 7 hereby enacts as follows: 8 Section 1. The Department of General Services, with the 9 approval of the Department of Public Welfare and the Governor, 10 is hereby authorized and directed on behalf of the Commonwealth 11 of Pennsylvania, to grant and convey to the Township of Collier 12 the following tract of land situate in the Township of Collier, 13 County of Allegheny, and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, bounded 14 and described as follows: 15 Beginning at a point near the centerline intersection of 16 L.R.02041, L.R.02344, and L.R.02022 being Hilltop Road, said 17 point being also on the easterly line of property now or 18 formerly Equitable Gas Company; thence in and through L.R.02041 19 a 33 feet right-of-way, and along the easterly line of property
1 now or formerly of Equitable Gas Company, and along the easterly 2 line of property now or formerly of James B. Blackburn, et al, 3 north 05 degrees, 21 minutes west, a distance of 458.00 feet to 4 a point; thence continuing along the easterly line of Blackburn, 5 north, 82 degrees, 21 minutes west, a distance of 99.00 feet to 6 a point at the northwesterly corner of the herein described 7 property; thence along line of said Blackburn and the southerly 8 line of property now or formerly of Collier Sportsmen 9 Association north 64 degrees, 20 minutes east, a distance of 10 766.56 feet to a point; thence through property of which this is 11 a part, south 21 degrees, 18 minutes east, a distance of 633.86 12 feet to a point in the centerline of Hilltop Road, being 13 L.R.02022, a 33 feet right-of-way; thence continuing through 14 property of which this is a part and along the centerline of 15 said Hilltop Road the following bearings and distances: 16 South 68 degrees, 42 minutes west, a distance of 271.80 feet 17 to a point; thence by the arc of a circle deflecting to the 18 right in a southwesterly direction having a radius of 1330.00 19 feet, an arc distance of 298.67 feet to a point; thence south 81 20 degrees, 34 minutes west, a distance of 241.66 feet to a point 21 at the place of beginning. 22 Containing 10 acres. 23 The conveyance shall be made under and subject to all 24 easements, servitudes and rights of others, including but not 25 confined to streets, roadways, and rights of any telephone, 26 telegraph, water, electric, sewer, gas or pipeline companies, as 27 well as under and subject to any interest, estates, or tenancies 28 vested in third persons, whether or not appearing of record, for 29 any portion of the land or improvements erected thereon. 30 Section 2. The Deed of Conveyance shall contain a clause 19790H1889B2339 - 2 -
1 that the lands conveyed shall be used for a municipal complex by 2 the Township of Collier and if at any time the said Township of 3 Collier or its successor in function conveys said property or 4 authorizes or permits said property to be used for any purpose 5 other than those aforementioned, the title thereto shall 6 immediately revert to and revest in the Commonwealth of 7 Pennsylvania. 8 Section 3. The Deed of Conveyance shall be approved by the 9 Department of Justice and shall be executed by the Secretary of 10 General Services in the name of the Commonwealth of 11 Pennsylvania. 12 Section 4.
