                                     AN ACT

     1  Declaring and adopting the song "Our Pennsylvania," by Gertrude
     2     L. Miller, as the State song of the Commonwealth of
     3     Pennsylvania.

     4     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     5  hereby enacts as follows:
     6     Section 1.  The song "Our Pennsylvania," by Gertrude L.
     7  Miller, is hereby adopted as the State song of Pennsylvania and
     8  shall be the official song for all public purposes. The words of
     9  the song are as follows:
    10                         "OUR PENNSYLVANIA"
    11         Children of Democracy,
    12             Inheritors of liberty,
    13         We love we do, our U.S.A.
    14             Especially Pennsylvania!
    15         Oh we love our Pennsylvania  -
    16             Yes, you bet we do!
    17         It's the best State in the old red, white and blue,
    18             From Maine to California
    19         Any where you go!

     1             It's the Keystone State as every one should know -
     2         From the mountain laurel to the fresh brook trout,
     3             And William Penn the one who brought it all about.
     4         We love our Pennsylvania -
     5             Yes, you bet we can!
     6         It's the pride and joy of dear old Uncle Sam!
     7     Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
