AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, further providing for additional parking
3 regulations.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Subsections (a) and (b) of section 3354 of Title
7 75, act of November 25, 1970 (P.L.707, No.230), known as the
8 Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, are amended to read:
9 § 3354. Additional parking regulations.
10 (a) Two-way highways.--Except as otherwise provided in this
11 section, every vehicle standing or parked upon a two-way highway
12 shall be positioned parallel to and with the right-hand wheels
13 within [12] six inches of the right-hand curb in cities of the
14 first class and within 12 inches of the right-hand curb
15 elsewhere, or, in the absence of a curb, as close as practicable
16 to the right edge of the right-hand shoulder.
17 (b) One-way highways.--Except as otherwise provided in this
18 section, every vehicle standing or parked upon a one-way highway
19 shall be positioned parallel to the curb or edge of the highway
1 in the direction of authorized traffic movement with its right-
2 hand wheels within [12] six inches of the right-hand curb in
3 cities of the first class and within 12 inches of the right-hand
4 curb elsewhere, or, in the absence of a curb, as close as
5 practicable to the right edge of the right-hand shoulder, or
6 with its left-hand wheels within [12] six inches of the left-
7 hand curb in cities of the first class and within 12 inches of
8 the left-hand curb elsewhere, or, in the absence of a curb, as
9 close as practicable to the left edge of the left-hand shoulder.

11 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
