                                     AN ACT

     1  Making appropriations from the State Employees' Retirement Fund
     2     to provide for expenses of the State Employees' Retirement
     3     Board for the fiscal period July 1, 1979 to June 30, 1980 and
     4     for the payment of bills incurred and remaining unpaid at the
     5     close of the fiscal period ending June 30, 1979.

     6     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     7  hereby enacts as follows:
     8     Section 1.  The following sums or as much thereof as may be
     9  necessary, are hereby specifically appropriated from the State
    10  Employees' Retirement Fund to the State Employees' Retirement
    11  Board for the fiscal period beginning July 1, 1979 and for the
    12  payment of bills incurred and remaining unpaid at the close of
    13  the fiscal period ending June 30, 1979:
    14     (1)  The sum of $2,133,000, or as much thereof as may be
    15  necessary, for the payment of all salaries, wages and other
    16  compensation and travel expenses of the employees and members of
    17  the State Employees' Retirement Board, for contractual services
    18  including the fees for mortgage supervision but exclusive of
    19  money management fees, and other expenses necessary for the
    20  proper conduct of the duties, functions and activities of the

     1  board and for the payment of bills incurred and remaining unpaid
     2  at the close of the fiscal period ending June 30, 1979.
     3     (2)  The sum of $40,000, or as much thereof as may be
     4  necessary, for the development and integration of a computer
     5  control system for control over the security investments of the
     6  State Employees' Retirement Board.
     7     (3)  The sum of $300,000, or as much thereof as may be
     8  necessary, for the retention of present money management for the
     9  State Employees' Retirement Board.
    10     Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 1979.
