AN ACT
1 Amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania
2 Consolidated Statutes, prohibiting the operation of a
3 railroad train with a certain consist.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Title 18, act of November 25, 1970 (P.L.707,
7 No.230), known as the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, is
8 amended by adding a section to read:
9 § 6911. Consist of railroad train.
10 A person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree if he
11 operates a railroad train in this Commonwealth so arranged that
12 a flat or gondola type car loaded with pipe, poles, or machinery
13 extending above the permanent restraints is located next to a
14 railroad car, caboose, or locomotive which is occupied by human
15 beings.
16 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
