AN ACT
1 Establishing a regional volunteer firemen's training school at
2 Edinboro State College and making appropriations.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. Training school established.
6 There is hereby established a regional firemen's training
7 school at Edinboro State College which shall provide instruction
8 and practical training in the prevention, control and fighting
9 of fire and related fire department emergencies to the members
10 of volunteer fire departments in the region.
11 Section 2. Appropriations.
12 (a) The sum of $150,000 is hereby appropriated to Edinboro
13 State College for expenses related to the establishment of the
14 program.
15 (b) The sum of $100,000 is hereby appropriated to Edinboro
16 State College for operating expenses of the program during the
17 1979-1980 fiscal year.
18 Section 3. Effective date.
1 This act shall take effect in 60 days.
