AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, further providing for spot lamps on vehicles.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. Section 4303 of Title 75, act of November 25,
6 1970 (P.L.707, No.230), known as the Pennsylvania Consolidated
7 Statutes, is amended by adding a subsection to read:
8 § 4303. General lighting requirements.

10 (f) Spot lamps.--Any motor vehicle may be equipped with not
11 to exceed one spot lamp but emergency vehicles may be equipped
12 with two spot lamps; and every lighted spot lamp shall be so
13 aimed and used, upon approaching another vehicle, that no part
14 of the high intensity portion of the beam will be directed to
15 the left of the prolongation of the extreme left side of the
16 vehicle displaying the light nor more than 100 feet ahead of
17 said vehicle.
18 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
