A SUPPLEMENT 1 To the act of (P.L. , No. ), entitled "An act to 2 provide for the expenses of the Executive, Legislative and 3 Judicial Departments of the Commonwealth, the public debt, 4 and for the public schools for the fiscal period July 1, 1978 5 to June 30, 1979, and for the payment of bills incurred and 6 remaining unpaid at the close of the fiscal period ending 7 June 30, 1978," itemizing appropriations required from the 8 Motor License Fund for the proper operation of the several 9 departments of the Commonwealth authorized to spend Motor 10 License Fund moneys. 11 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania 12 hereby enacts as follows: 13 Section 1. This supplement shall be known and may be cited 14 as the "Motor License Fund Supplement to the General 15 Appropriation Act of 1978." 16 Section 2. The following sums or as much thereof as may be 17 necessary, are hereby specifically appropriated from the Motor 18 License Fund to the hereinafter named agencies of the 19 Commonwealth for the payment of salaries, wages and other 20 compensation and travel expenses of the duly elected or 21 appointed officers and employees of the Commonwealth, for 22 contractual services and other expenses necessary for the proper
1 conduct of the duties, functions and activities for the purposes
2 hereinafter set forth for the fiscal period beginning July 1,
3 1978 and for the payment of bills incurred and remaining unpaid
4 at the close of the fiscal period ending June 30, 1978.
5 To the Department of Transportation
6 For the salaries, wages and all necessary
7 expenses for the proper administration of the
8 Department of Transportation, including the
9 Transportation Commission and Advisory Committee,
10 and the Statewide coordination of municipal

14 safety construction programs, including planning
15 and research, design, engineering, right-of-way

In addition to the amounts appropriated by this 23 act, all moneys received from the Federal Government or from any 24 other source as contributions to or payments for the programs 25 provided herein shall be paid into the Motor License Fund and 26 are hereby appropriated out of the Motor License Fund for the 27 purposes and programs intended. 28 Section 4.
