AN ACT
1 Authorizing the Department of General Services, with the
2 approval of the Governor and the Pennsylvania State Police,
3 to sell, at public sale to the highest bidder, a parcel of
4 property located in the Borough of Media, Delaware County.
5 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
6 hereby enacts as follows:
7 Section 1. The Department of General Services, with the
8 approval of the Pennsylvania State Police and the Governor, is
9 hereby authorized in behalf of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
10 to sell, subject to the limitations contained in section 2, at
11 public sale to the highest bidder, the following described tract
12 of land with any improvements thereon in the Borough of Media,
13 County of Delaware and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, bounded and
14 described as follows:
15 Beginning at a point on the north side of the Baltimore Pike,
16 80 feet wide; said point of beginning 199.38 feet east of the
17 intersection of north side of Baltimore Pike and the south side
18 of Media By-Pass Ramp "B", 75 feet wide; thence at right angle
19 to Baltimore Pike north 6 degrees, 11 minutes, 05 seconds
1 westerly 20 feet to a point; thence south 83 degrees, 48
2 minutes, 55 seconds westerly 20 feet to a point; thence north 6
3 degrees, 11 minutes, 05 seconds westerly 39.15 feet to a point
4 on the south side of By-Pass Ramp "B"; thence by curve along
5 same, deflecting to the north with a chord bearing of north 57
6 degrees, 12 minutes, 35 seconds easterly 360.82 feet a radius of
7 1935.08 feet an arc of 361.32 feet to a point; thence south 6
8 degrees, 11 minutes, 05 seconds easterly 9.51 feet to a point;
9 thence north 56 degrees, 40 minutes, 04 seconds easterly 181.79
10 feet to a point; thence south 54 degrees, 14 minutes, 00 seconds
11 easterly 123.77 feet to a point; thence by curve deflecting to
12 the west with a chord bearing south 16 degrees, 31 minutes, 20
13 seconds westerly 140.86 feet a radius of 558.74 feet an arc of
14 141.24 feet to a point; thence south 66 degrees, 14 minutes, 05
15 seconds easterly 13.00 feet to a point on the west side of By-
16 Pass Ramp "A"; thence along same south 23 degrees, 45 minutes,
17 55 seconds westerly 86.57 feet to a point on the north side of
18 the Baltimore Pike and thence along same south 83 degrees, 48
19 minutes, 55 seconds westerly 470.09 feet to the point of
20 beginning containing 2.26 acres.
21 The conveyance shall be made under and subject to all
22 easements, servitudes and rights of others, including but not
23 limited to streets, roadways, and rights of any telephone,
24 telegraph, water, electric, sewer, gas or pipeline companies, as
25 well as under and subject to any interest, estates, or tenancies
26 vested in third persons, whether or not appearing of record, for
27 any portion of the land or improvements erected thereon.
28 Section 2. The Department of General Services shall
29 establish a minimum bid price of $60,000 and shall not accept or
30 consider any bids which are lower than the $60,000 minimum bid.

1 Section 3. All moneys received from the sale of the land
2 herein authorized to be conveyed shall be used by the Department
3 of General Services to satisfy any bonded indebtedness which was
4 received by the land described heretofore.
5 Section 4. The deed of conveyance shall be approved by the
6 Department of Justice and shall be executed by the Secretary of
7 General Services in the name of the Commonwealth of
8 Pennsylvania.
9 Section 5. This act shall take effect immediately.
