AN ACT
1 Providing for adoption of capital projects to be financed from
2 current revenues of the General Fund, and making
3 appropriations.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Itemization and Authorization of Projects.--The
7 1977-1978 Capital Budget projects in the category of public
8 improvement projects, to be financed from current revenues of
9 the General Fund, are hereby itemized together with their
10 respective estimated costs, as follows:
11 I. Department of Agriculture
12 (1) Improvements to Sewage Systems; Summerdale
13 Laboratory............................ $46,000
14 II. Department of Education
15 (1) Emergency Lighting and Fire Alarm System;
16 Scranton State School for the Deaf.... 98,000
17 (2) Emergency Lighting and Fire Alarm System;

2 (1) Security System; Pennsylvania Military

29 Section 2. Appropriations.--The following sums of money, or
30 as much thereof as may be necessary, are hereby specifically

1 appropriated for completion of the above itemized capital
2 improvement projects:
3 (1) The sum of $46,000 to the Department of Agriculture.
4 (2) The sum of $168,000 to the Department of Education.
5 (3) The sum of $43,000 to the Historical and Museum
6 Commission.
7 (4) The sum of $152,000 to the Department of Justice.
8 (5) The sum of $69,000 to the Department of Military
9 Affairs.
10 (6) The sum of $375,000 to the Department of Public Welfare.
11 Section 3. Lapse of Funds.--Whatsoever of the amounts herein
12 appropriated are unexpended or unencumbered as of June 30, 1978
13 shall lapse.
14 Section 4. Effective Date.--This act shall take immediately.
