AN ACT
1 Amending the act of October 10, 1974 (P.L.705, No.235), entitled
2 "An act providing for the training and licensing of watch
3 guards, protective patrolmen, detectives and criminal
4 investigators, carrying and using lethal weapons in their
5 employment; imposing powers and duties on the Commissioner of
6 the Pennsylvania State Police; and providing penalties,"
7 providing for the disposition of certain fees required to be
8 paid under this act.
9 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
10 hereby enacts as follows:
11 Section 1. The act of October 10, 1974 (P.L.705, No.235),
12 known as the "Lethal Weapons Training Act," is amended by adding
13 a section to read:
14 Section 7.1. Application of Fees.--The application fees and
15 certification fees required to be paid to the commissioner by
16 the provisions of this act shall be used by him for the
17 administration of this act. The surplus, if any, shall be
18 transmitted to the General Fund.
19 Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
