In the House of Representatives, February 8, 1977
1 WHEREAS, The recent cold wave has created much havoc with the
2 employment situation in this Commonwealth; and
3 WHEREAS, Many workers are laid off of their jobs due to
4 curtailment of natural gas to industry now; therefore be it
5 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives urge all banks,
6 lending institutions and all businesses to remain patient and
7 grant additional time to pay bills to all persons who are
8 temporarily unemployed due to the energy crisis.
