AN ACT
1 Amending the act of December 16, 1977 (P.L.327, No.96),
2 entitled, "An act amending the act of March 11, 1971
3 (P.L.104, No.3), entitled, as reenacted and amended, 'An act
4 providing property tax or rent rebate to certain senior
5 citizens, widows, widowers and permanently disabled persons
6 with limited incomes; establishing uniform standards and
7 qualifications for eligibility to receive a rebate; and
8 imposing duties upon the Department of Revenue,' providing
9 for an additional filing period, estimation and anticipation
10 of revenues," providing for additional filings for the
11 calendar year 1977.
12 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
13 hereby enacts as follows:
14 Section 1. Section 2, act of December 16, 1977 (P.L.327,
15 No.96), entitled "An act amending the act of March 11, 1971
16 (P.L.104, No.3), entitled, as reenacted and amended, 'An act
17 providing property tax or rent rebate to certain senior
18 citizens, widows, widowers and permanently disabled persons with
19 limited incomes; establishing uniform standards and
20 qualifications for eligibility to receive a rebate; and imposing
21 duties upon the Department of Revenue,' providing for an
22 additional filing period, estimation and anticipation of
1 revenues," is amended to read:
2 Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately and shall
3 apply retroactively to claims filed for rebate of taxes or rent
4 due and payable during calendar [year] years 1976 and 1977 only.
5 Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
