AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Governor for disaster relief and
2 assistance for the Great Flood of July 1977.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. The sum of $2,000,000 $4,000,000, or as much <--
6 thereof as may be necessary is hereby appropriated to the
7 Governor for allocation by the Governor to provide disaster
8 relief and assistance for victims of the Great Flood of July,
9 1977.
10 Section 2. All funds appropriated herein which remain
11 unexpended, uncommitted or unencumbered as of June 30, 1978
12 shall automatically lapse as of that date.
13 Section 3. This act shall take effect upon ratification by
14 the electors of an amendment to Article VIII, section 17 of the
15 Constitution of Pennsylvania authorizing appropriations for
16 these purposes.
