                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
     2     Statutes, further providing for riders on pedalcycles.

     3     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     4  hereby enacts as follows:
     5     Section 1.  Section 3504 (b) of Title 75, act of November 25,
     6  1970 (P.L.707, No.230), known as the Pennsylvania Consolidated
     7  Statutes, is amended to read:
     8  § 3504.  Riding on pedalcycles.
     9     * * *
    10     (b)  Number of riders.--No pedalcycle shall be used to carry
    11  more persons at one time than the number for which the
    12  pedalcycle is designed or adapted and equipped except that an
    13  adult rider may carry a child securely attached to the rider in
    14  a back pack or sling.
    15     Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
