AN ACT 1 Amending the act of June 4, 1976 (P.L.1331, No.7-A), entitled 2 "An act to provide for the expenses of the Executive, 3 Legislative and Judicial Departments of the Commonwealth, the 4 public debt and for the public schools for the fiscal period 5 July 1, 1976 to June 30, 1977, and for the payment of bills 6 incurred and remaining unpaid at the close of the fiscal 7 period ending June 30, 1976," increasing the appropriation to 8 the Department of Public Welfare for medical assistance. 9 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania 10 hereby enacts as follows: 11 Section 1. As much of section 2 as relates to the Department 12 of Public Welfare as to medical assistance, act of June 4, 1976 13 (P.L.1331, No.7-A), known as the "General Appropriation Act of 14 1976," is amended to read: 15 Section 2. The following sums, or as much thereof as may be 16 necessary, are hereby specifically appropriated from the General 17 Fund to the several hereinafter named agencies of the Executive, 18 Legislative and Judicial Departments of the Commonwealth for the 19 payment of the salaries, wages or other compensation and travel 20 expenses of the duly elected or appointed officers and employees 21 of the Commonwealth, for payment of fees of contractual services
1 rendered, for the purchase or rental of goods, services,
2 printing, equipment, land and buildings and for payment of any
3 other expenses, as provided by law or by this act, necessary for
4 the proper conduct of the duties, functions and activities and
5 for the purposes hereinafter set forth for the fiscal period
6 beginning July 1, 1976 and for the payment of bills incurred and
7 remaining unpaid at the close of the fiscal period ending June
8 30, 1976.
