AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Trustees of the Berean Training
2 and Industrial School at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. (a) The sum of $394,000, or as much thereof as
6 may be necessary, is hereby specifically appropriated to the
7 Trustees of the Berean Training and Industrial School at
8 Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for its fiscal period July 1, 1977
9 to June 30, 1978, for the operation and maintenance of the
10 school and the purchase of such apparatus and equipment as the
11 trustees may deem necessary for the best interest of the school.
12 (b) The sum of $40,000 is hereby specifically appropriated
13 to the Trustees of the Berean Training and Industrial School at
14 Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for its fiscal period July 1, 1977
15 to June 30, 1978 only for the express purpose of reducing the
16 accumulated rental payments due the Commonwealth of
17 Pennsylvania.
18 Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 1977.
