                                     AN ACT

     1  Relating to the ownership of methane gas.

     2     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     3  hereby enacts as follows:
     4     Section 1.  Methane gas is a natural gas, and, therefore, the
     5  right to extract the gas and assert title thereto belongs to the
     6  owner of the gas rights.
     7     Section 2.  This act shall take effect immediately.
