AN ACT
1 Amending REPEALING the act of October 22, 1955 (P.L.721, <--
2 No.205), entitled "An act prohibiting operation of boats
3 having a manufacturer's horsepower rating in excess of seven
4 and one-half on Quaker Lake in Susquehanna County." further <--
5 providing for the use of boats with motors.
6 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
7 hereby enacts as follows:
8 Section 1. The act of October 22, 1955 (P.L.721, No.205),
9 entitled "An act prohibiting operation of boats having a
10 manufacturer's horsepower rating in excess of seven and one-half
11 on Quaker Lake in Susquehanna County," is amended by adding a <--
12 section to read: REPEALED. <--
13 Section 1.1. Any boat equipped with a motor in excess of <--
14 seven and one-half horsepower rating may be operated on Quaker
15 Lake in Susquehanna County if the motor is rendered inoperable
16 by removal of the propeller, and such propeller is left ashore.
17 After removal of the propeller, a motor of not more than seven
18 and one-half rating may be attached to the boat and used for
19 propelling the boat on Quaker Lake.
1 Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
