                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending the act of July 3, 1963 (P.L.185, No.111), entitled "An
     2     act to prohibit operation of boats having a developed
     3     horsepower rating in excess of six on Sugar Lake in Crawford
     4     County," further providing for the use of boats with motors.

     5     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     6  hereby enacts as follows:
     7     Section 1.  The act of July 3, 1963 (P.L.185, No.111),
     8  entitled "An act to prohibit operation of boats having a
     9  developed horsepower rating in excess of six on Sugar Lake in
    10  Crawford County," is amended by adding a section to read:
    11     Section 1.1.  Any boat equipped with a motor in excess of six
    12  horsepower rating may be operated on Sugar Lake in Crawford
    13  County if the motor is rendered inoperable by removal of the
    14  propeller, and such propeller is left ashore. After removal of
    15  the propeller, a motor of not more than six horsepower rating
    16  may be attached to the boat and used for propelling the boat on
    17  Sugar Lake.
    18     Section 2.  This act shall take effect immediately.
