        AS RE-REPORTED FROM COMMITTEE ON STATE GOVERNMENT, HOUSE OF
           REPRESENTATIVES, AS AMENDED, APRIL 13, 1977

                                     AN ACT

     1  Authorizing and directing the Department of General Services and
     2     The General State Authority, with the approval of the
     3     Governor AND THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WELFARE, to convey to    <--
     4     the Redevelopment Authority of the County of Armstrong a
     5     certain tract of land.

     6     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     7  hereby enacts as follows:
     8     Section 1.  The Department of General Services and The
     9  General State Authority, with the approval of the Governor AND    <--
    10  THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WELFARE, on behalf of the Commonwealth
    11  of Pennsylvania are hereby authorized and directed to convey to
    12  the Redevelopment Authority of the County of Armstrong for the
    13  consideration of $30,063.80 the following described tract of
    14  land situate in the Borough of Kittanning, County of Armstrong,
    15  Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, such tract being bounded and
    16  described as follows:
    17     Beginning at a point at the northeast corner of the herein
    18  described tract of land at the southeast corner of lands of The
    19  General State Authority, on the westerly line of South McKean

     1  Street; thence along said South McKean Street south 38 degrees
     2  53 minutes 30 seconds east 301.92 feet to a point at the corner
     3  of South McKean Street and Walnut Street Extension; thence along
     4  said Walnut Street Extension and disposition Parcel No.4 south
     5  50 degrees 29 minutes 30 seconds west 165.92 feet to a point on
     6  the easterly line of South Jefferson Alley; thence along said
     7  alley north 38 degrees 54 minutes 00 seconds west 301.88 feet to
     8  a point at the southwest corner of The General State Authority,
     9  aforementioned; thence along said lands north 50 degrees 29
    10  minutes 30 seconds east 166.02 feet to the place of beginning
    11  containing 50,106.34 square feet more or less.
    12     Being the same property described in "Schedule A" of the deed
    13  conveying such property to The General State Authority from the
    14  Redevelopment Authority of the County of Armstrong, dated March
    15  31, 1975.
    16     The above conveyance shall be made under and subject,
    17  nevertheless, to all easements, servitudes and rights of others,
    18  including, but not confined to, streets, roadways, and rights of
    19  any telephone, telegraph, water, electric, gas, or pipeline
    20  companies, as well as under and subject, nevertheless, to any
    21  estate or tenancies vested in third persons, whether or not
    22  appearing of record, for any portion of the said land or
    23  improvements erected thereon.
    24     Section 2.  Nothing in this act shall be construed to affect
    25  the validity of the restrictions, easements, conditions and
    26  covenants set forth in the deed by the Redevelopment Authority
    27  of the County of Armstrong to The General State Authority, dated
    28  March 31, 1975, insofar as such restrictions, easements,
    29  conditions and covenants relate to the tract of land therein
    30  described in "Schedule B".

     1     Section 3.  The deed of conveyance shall be approved by the
     2  Department of Justice and shall be executed by the Secretary of
     3  General Services and the Executive Director of The General State
     4  Authority in the name of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
     5     Section 4.  All moneys received from the sale of the land
     6  shall be paid to The General State Authority.
     7     Section 5.  This act shall take effect immediately.
