AN ACT
1 Providing for the capital budget for the fiscal year 1976-1977.
2 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
3 hereby enacts as follows:
4 Section 1. Construction.--This act and its supplements shall
5 constitute the "Capital Budget Act of 1976-1977 Fiscal Year."
6 The provisions and definitions of the act of July 20, 1968
7 (P.L.550, No.217), known as the "Capital Facilities Debt
8 Enabling Act," unless inconsistent herewith, shall apply.
9 Section 2. Overall Limitations on Debt to be Incurred for
10 Capital Projects.--The maximum principal amount of additional
11 debt to be incurred hereafter during the 1976-1977 fiscal year
12 and thereafter until the enactment of the 1977-1978 capital
13 budget specifying such maximum debt for the 1977-1978 fiscal
14 year, for capital projects specifically itemized in a capital
15 budget pursuant to section 7(a)(4) of Article VIII of the
16 Constitution of Pennsylvania, and the fund to be charged with
17 the repayment of such debt shall, with respect to each category
18 of capital projects, be as follows:

4 (2) Public Improvement Projects: General Fund
5 Department of General or Special
6 Services 100,000,000 Fund as
7 applicable
8 (3) Transportation Assistance
9 Projects 30,000,000 General Fund
10 Total $330,000,000
11 Section 3. Effective Date.--This act shall take effect July
12 1, 1976 or, if enacted subsequent to that date, immediately.
