AN ACT
1 Amending the act of March 15, 1967 (P.L.2, No.2), entitled "An
2 act providing for a constitutional convention with limited
3 powers; providing for a referendum on the question; providing
4 for the selection, nomination and election of delegates;
5 defining the powers and duties of the convention; providing
6 for its operation; conferring powers and imposing duties on
7 the Governor, the Secretary of the Commonwealth, officers of
8 the General Assembly and County Election Boards; providing
9 for a referendum on the convention's report and making an
10 appropriation," further providing for the appropriation.
11 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
12 hereby enacts as follows:
13 Section 1. The act of March 15, 1967 (P.L.2, No.2), entitled
14 "An act providing for a constitutional convention with limited
15 powers; providing for a referendum on the question; providing
16 for the selection, nomination and election of delegates;
17 defining the powers and duties of the convention; providing for
18 its operation; conferring powers and imposing duties on the
19 Governor, the Secretary of the Commonwealth, officers of the
20 General Assembly and County Election Boards; providing for a
21 referendum on the convention's report and making an
22 appropriation," is amended by adding a section to read:
1 Section 12.1. That part of the appropriation in this act
2 unexpended, uncommitted and unencumbered as of the effective
3 date of this amendatory act shall automatically lapse as of that
4 date.
5 Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
