AN ACT
1 Amending the act of June 13, 1967 (P.L.31, No.21), entitled "An
2 act to consolidate, editorially revise, and codify the public
3 welfare laws of the Commonwealth," changing provisions
4 relating to Food Stamp Computations.
5 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
6 hereby enacts as follows:
7 Section 1. Section 471, act of June 13, 1967 (P.L.31,
8 No.21), known as the "Public Welfare Code," is amended to read:
9 Section 471. Food Stamp Computations.--To compute for each
10 quarter the amount of Commonwealth funds expended by the
11 department for the administration of the food stamp program for
12 each county or city of the first class. For the fiscal year
13 1965-1966, thirty percent; for the fiscal year 1966-1967, forty
14 percent; and, for the fiscal [year] years 1967-1968, [and
15 thereafter,] through 1974-1975 and the six month period ending
16 December 31, 1975, JUNE 30, 1975, fifty percent of the amount so <--
17 expended for each county or city of the first class shall be
18 certified to it, and shall become its obligation to be paid to
19 the department.
