        REFERRED TO APPROPRIATIONS, JUNE 9, 1975

                                     AN ACT

     1  Making an appropriation to the Department of Agriculture for the
     2     use of the Weather Modification Board.

     3     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     4  hereby enacts as follows:
     5     Section 1.  The sum of $30,000, or as much thereof as may be
     6  necessary, is hereby appropriated to the Department of
     7  Agriculture for the use of the Weather Modification Board solely
     8  to pay expenses in connection with hearings to determine who is
     9  cloud-seeding under the provisions of the act of January 19,
    10  1968 (1967 P.L.1024, No.449), referred to as the Weather
    11  Modification Act. For any such hearing it may use its subpoena
    12  powers pursuant to section 520 of The Administrative Code of
    13  1929.
    14     Section 2.  This act shall take effect immediately.
