AN ACT
1 Making appropriations to the Trustees of the Hahnemann Medical
2 College and Hospital of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. (a) The sum of $3,054,000, or as much thereof as
6 may be necessary, is hereby specifically appropriated to the
7 Trustees of the Hahnemann Medical College of Philadelphia,
8 Pennsylvania, for its fiscal period July 1, 1975 to June 30,
9 1976, for instruction in the Doctor of Medicine program.
10 (b) The sum of $209,000, or as much thereof as may be
11 necessary, is hereby specifically appropriated to the Trustees
12 of the Hahnemann Medical College of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
13 for its fiscal period July 1, 1975 to June 30, 1976, for
14 instruction in the Allied Health, Professions and Graduate
15 School of the Hahnemann Medical College.
16 Section 2. Payments to the Hahnemann Medical College of
17 Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on account of the appropriation for
18 instruction in the Doctor of Medicine Program as provided in
1 section 1(a) shall be made on the basis of full-time student
2 enrollment at the rate of $4,400 per student.
3 Section 3. The college shall provide such information and in
4 such form and manner as the Department of Education may
5 prescribe.
6 Section 4. The Hahnemann Medical College of Philadelphia,
7 Pennsylvania, shall report its revenues and expenditures and
8 present its financial statements in accordance with generally
9 accepted accounting principles and procedures for educational
10 institutions as set forth in the "Industry Audit Guide for
11 Colleges and Universities" of the American Institute of
12 Certified Public Accountants of 1973, without exception.
13 Section 5. This act shall take effect July 1, 1975.
