AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to The Medical College of Pennsylvania,
2 East Falls, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. The sum of $1,658,000, or as much thereof as may
6 be necessary, is hereby specifically appropriated to The Medical
7 College of Pennsylvania located in East Falls, Philadelphia,
8 Pennsylvania, for its fiscal period July 1, 1975 to June 30,
9 1976, for instruction in the Doctor of Medicine program.
10 Section 2. Payments to The Medical College of Pennsylvania,
11 located at East Falls, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on account of
12 the appropriation for instruction in the Doctor of Medicine
13 program as provided in section 1 of this act shall be made on
14 the basis of full-time student enrollment at the rate of $4,400
15 per student.
16 Section 3. The college shall provide such information and in
17 such form and manner as the Department of Education may
18 prescribe.
1 Section 4. The Medical College of Pennsylvania shall report
2 its revenues and expenditures and present its financial
3 statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting
4 principles and procedures for educational institutions as set
5 forth in the "Industry Audit Guide for Colleges and
6 Universities" of the American Institute of Certified Public
7 Accountants of 1973, without exception.
8 Section 5. This act shall take effect July 1, 1975.
