AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Department of Property and
2 Supplies to purchase, on behalf of the Pennsylvania
3 Historical and Museum Commission, materials relating to the
4 life and work of the late Louis I. Kahn.
5 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
6 hereby enacts as follows:
7 Section 1. For purposes of cataloging and otherwise
8 maintaining and preserving materials relating to the life and
9 work of the late Louis I. Kahn, the Department of Property and
10 Supplies, on behalf of the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum
11 Commission, is authorized to purchase such materials. These
12 materials shall include but not be limited to papers, notes,
13 letters, books, films, models, photographs and slides.
14 Section 2. The sum of $450,000, or as much thereof as may be
15 necessary, is hereby appropriated to the Department of Property
16 and Supplies for the purchase authorized by this act.
17 Section 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
