AN ACT
1 Authorizing the Department of Property and Supplies with the
2 approval of the Governor to sublease the Armstrong County
3 Memorial Hospital to the Armstrong County Health Center, Inc.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. The Department of Property and Supplies, with the
7 approval of the Governor, is hereby authorized and directed to
8 sublease the Armstrong County Memorial Hospital in Kittanning,
9 Pennsylvania, for the rental of $1 per annum to the Armstrong
10 County Health Center, Inc., under such terms and conditions as
11 shall be agreed upon.
12 Section 2. The sublease shall be prepared by the Department
13 of Justice and executed by the Department of Property and
14 Supplies with the approval of the Governor.
15 Section 3. During the term of said sublease or any renewal
16 thereof, the Armstrong County Health Center, Inc., shall be
17 subject to the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the
18 rules and regulations promulgated by any department, board or
19 commission of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or any agency
1 governing private nonprofit institutions.
2 Section 4. This act shall take effect immediately.
