        SENATOR MURPHY, LOCAL GOVERNMENT, AS AMENDED, MARCH 18, 1975

                                     AN ACT

     1  Permitting municipalities to expend certain funds to finance      <--
     2     projects for the Bicentennial Celebration.

     3     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     4  hereby enacts as follows:
     5     Section 1.  All municipalities in this Commonwealth are
     6  hereby authorized to expend sums of money not in excess of 1% of  <--
     7  FROM their total general funds for the purpose of financing       <--
     8  projects to further the Bicentennial Celebration.
     9     Section 2.  This act shall take effect immediately.
