                     In the House of Representatives, September 20, 1976

     1     WHEREAS, A special investigating grand jury in Philadelphia
     2  has recommended that the Commonwealth special prosecutor bring
     3  charges of criminal attempt, bribery, and conspiracy against
     4  State House of Representatives member Stephen R. Wojdak; and
     5     WHEREAS, The State House Ethics Committee is charged with
     6  overseeing the official conduct of the members of the State
     7  House of Representatives; therefore be it
     8     RESOLVED, That the Ethics Committee of the House of
     9  Representatives of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania be convened
    10  during the week of September 20, 1976 to conduct an immediate
    11  investigation into the grand jury allegations of misconduct by
    12  Representative Wojdak; and be it further
    13     RESOLVED, That the membership of the House Ethics Committee
    14  take such steps as may be necessary to obtain the relevant facts
    15  of the case from the office of the special prosecutor; and be it
    16  further
    17     RESOLVED, That, in fairness to Representative Wojdak and his


     1  constituents, the Ethics Committee shall conduct a full
     2  investigation and make a complete report and recommendation to
     3  the House of Representatives prior to October 15, 1976.
