                           In the House of Representatives, June 3, 1975

     1     The Federal Reserve Board is in control of the supply of
     2  money in this country. Its policies have created crisis after
     3  crisis in the financial stability of our economic life. Most
     4  recently its monetary policies have disrupted the lives of most
     5  Americans by deepening the current recession and preventing the
     6  country from making a rapid recovery from our economic problems;
     7  therefore be it
     8     RESOLVED (the Senate concurring), That the General Assembly
     9  of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania memorialize the Congress of
    10  the United States to investigate the Federal Reserve Board and
    11  the Federal Reserve System to determine ways and means of
    12  improving them and to enact legislation which will insure that
    13  they will be responsive to the people, as a whole rather than
    14  function exclusively for the banking interests and the money
    15  manipulators in the financial world; and be it further
    16     RESOLVED, That copies of this resolution be transmitted to
    17  the President of the United States, the presiding officers of


     1  each House of the Congress of the United States and to each
     2  Senator and Representative in the Congress of the United States.
