In the House of Representatives, April 9, 1975
1 The week of April 6 to 12 has been designated as "Week of the
2 Young Child", and is being sponsored by the National Association
3 for the Education of Young Children and the Community
4 Coordinated Child Care.
5 Observances such as those activities in Pennsylvania
6 recognizing the importance of the coordination of child care on
7 the community level are taking place throughout the United
8 States; therefore be it
9 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of Pennsylvania
10 recognizes the importance of the "Week of the Young Child", and
11 expresses its support for the various programs in the
12 Commonwealth that contribute to the healthy development of young
13 children in whom the future of this country rests; and be it
14 further
15 RESOLVED, That a copy of this resolution be transmitted to
16 Gary D. Reiswig, Ph.D., Community Coordinated Child Care, 429
17 Forbes Avenue, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, 15219.
